General Doolittle, James Harold

General James Harold "Jimmy" Doolittle, USAF (December 14, 1896 – September 27, 1993) was an American aviation pioneer. Doolittle served as an officer in the United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War. He earned the Medal of Honor for his valor and leadership as commander of the Doolittle Raid while a lieutenant colonel.

Hawley, Moses (Document Signed- Ratification of the Constitution)

Moses Hawley (Born: Oct. 19, 1748 Woodbury Litchfield County Connecticut, USA - Death: Oct. 14, 1830 Canandaigua Ontario County New York USA) was one of 168 such delegates, representing the town of Bethel and voting yes to the ratification. Document Signed, 1789 - 7 3/4 x 5  irregular edges; Folio, Parcel Document--The convention which ratified the constitution of the United States, holden at Hartford, on the first Thursday of January, 1788.  Moses Hawley, had signed a receipt regarding the town's election of Amos Clarke, as Constable to collect taxes. Lanman, Joseph

Rear Admiral Joseph Lanman, of the United States Navy, was born in Norwich, Connecticut, July 18, 1811 - February 13, 1874).
